VMAN COLLECTORS CLUB PRESENTS: TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET
In celebration of Timothée chalamet’s latest film title “Dune", set to be released later this year, we are looking back at the actors VMAN39 cover for today’s #ThrowbackThursday and for the next installment of our VMAN Collector’s Club! Photographed by Collier Schorr and styled by Robbie Spencer back in 2018, the actor had just finished his role as Elio in “Call Me By Your Name" and as Kyle in Greta Gerwig’s “LadyBird", both propelling Chalamet to global stardom.
In his interview with Frank Ocean, the actor talks about his approach to method acting and the importance of connecting with the viewer, saying “You don’t want to be entertaining for the sake of being entertaining. The work should be the work. If it resonates, it’s going to resonate, and then people are naturally curious about how you got to that destination. It can’t be about how you’re getting to it.” Since then, Chalamet has gone on to garner worldwide recognition with his critically acclaimed roles in various works of film and VMAN couldn’t be more excited to see where the young actor will go!
As a gift to our most devoted readers, VMAN is opening our archive for a second chance to purchase this piece of VMAN history. With only 10 issues left in the world, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to score your copy now.
