Today, we celebrate the purple reign of the late musical genius, Prince. To honor the singer-songwriters birthday, we’re looking back his V84 cover and dedicating the latest installment of our Collectors Club to a larger cause. 100% of the proceeds made from the sale of this issue will be donated to Black Lives Matter, the global organization dedicated to fighting racial injustice.

Captured back in 2013, the artist was lensed by photography duo Inez & Vinoodh during a concert series in Las Vegas, with the duo snapping shots of the icon in between sets and quick costume changes, thus creating what would be a cherished memory in V history.
