Happy birthday to the one and only Iman! Often referred to as the “Fairy Godmother of V”, she and her late husband, David Bowie, kicked off the launch of our V website with a film they created back in 2000.

David was an avid magazine collector who also wrote and guest edited the Heroes section in Issue 1! Iman is a model’s role model whose first runway show is documented in the Halston documentary and paved the way for so many models today. Happy birthday to a true fashion heroine! V love you! ♥️
